NEW - Goddess Bracelet - Aphrodite - (Love) - High Grade Garnet with Sterling Silver

$40.00

This Aphrodite Goddess bracelet is named after the Greek Goddess of Love. It is strung from beautiful deep red, faceted Garnet, interspersed with tiny sterling silver ball beads.

Each bracelet is strung on strong elastic thread that will last, but is also available as a clasp bracelet at extra cost by special request.

Aphrodite looks beautiful worn as a single bracelet but can also be combined with other bracelets particularly sterling silver as well as many other bracelets and sets in the Wristocracy range. Other stones currently in the Goddess range include spotted Rainbow Moonstone, High Grades of Labradorite, Citrine, Iolite and Black Spinel

Garnet is the traditional birthstone for January and is associated with Capricorn and Aquarius zodiacs and the heart and base (root) chakras. It is named after the Latin word granatium (pomegranate), as its colour was thought to resemble the deep red of the seeds. Historically, the recorded use of Garnet dates back to the Bronze Age where it was thought to ward off evil, promote good health and increase inner strength.   Its rich red considered a symbol of love and life. It’s been used to drive off demons, warn the holder of impending danger, and whilst it was considered good luck to possess one it was said to attract bad luck should you steal it! Metaphysically, Garnets are thought to be an amplifier of bravery, kindness, and creativity as well as a catalyst for attracting love, boosting libido and increasing wealth. There are several varieties of Garnet and I stock a few of them including Green, Malay (pinky red), Orange (Hessonite), Brown (Spessartine), Purple (purple toned red) and Red.

Aphrodite is also available in smooth AAA Grade Brazilian Garnet as shown in image 8 and 9. Please specify this request in the comments when ordering.

Bracelet Sizing

I recommend you select a size that is 1-1.5cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticised it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist, nor too loose that it will catch on things.

Mala Sizing

Wristocracy Mala are strung from 108 x 8mm beads unless otherwise stated. They can be finished with your choice of tassel, crystal piece (yours or ours with drilling an extra cost if needed). Mala can also be finished infinity style as in the rainbow style.

Caring for your Wristocracy:

Like with all my jewellery I do recommend you take bracelets off before entering water. Frequent exposure to water and cologne can damage the beads.

Some gemstones are water or photosensitive.  This means long periods of water or sun exposure may erode or fade the stone - so it is best to keep this in mind when wearing or storing the jewellery.

Safety

Bracelets are intended for adult wear only. Please keep beads away from animals and small children and ingestion may cause harm.

Gemstones are beautiful to look at, but make no mistake - they should never be ingested. If your bracelet or necklace breaks, collect all the stones and put them in a safe place and contact the maker to remake (if possible). I will remake my pieces only. Please note there is a small charge for re-making and if extra beads are required I may charge a little bit for those also.

Most minerals are safe to wear or handle normally, however if the polish on your gemstone starts to breakdown you need to consider replacing the stones.

If you want more information on your stones check out Wristocropedia (subscribers only)
