There really is so much differing information on birthstones. Depending on where you do your research the information varies greatly, The below chart (from Wikipedia) mentions most of them.

Special stone beliefs date back hundreds of years - with mentions in the Bible, Hinduism and across a broad range of cultures. Many believe by wearing the stone of your birth month or zodiac, the energies of that stone will be heightened and it will serve as a talisman to the wearer.
