African Turquoise, Amazonite, Lavikite and Labradorite (set of 3,4 or 5)
On stormy days the colours of my local West Coast beaches change from their bright summertime palette to more washed out teal blues, greens and grey. The beach is virtually empty of visitors and the shore front is littered with scraps of seaweed, seashells and other treasures thrown from the foamy unsettled ocean. Random rays of sunshine escape past the grey clouds above illuminating shiny finds, including the broken Horse Mussel shell used in the pictures above. I find the beach on these days to be a great place to blow away the cobwebs and clear my head; leaving me feeling more energised by the sight and sounds of the crashing waves, the feeling of the stinging salt air on my skin and the powerful show from Mother Nature. This is the inspiration behind this set.
To reflect all of this in a bracelet set I have created a set of five using four gorgeous semi precious gemstones, including some beautiful blue teal African Turquoise (that I have held onto for a while now waiting for the perfect inspiration), a mixed teal Amazonite, a small polished round Lavikite (with small flashes visible in the right lights) and a super sparkly, blue flashy Labradorite. I have rounded out the set with a dark pewter toned metal bracelet with teal Czech window bead. Read all about the stones below:
African Turquoise is sometimes known as the ‘Stone of Evolution. Varieties include Black & Gold, Chinese, Mozambique, Peru, Russian Amazonite is said to be a balancing stone. Often used in spiritual healing.
Labradorite is a stone that exhibits flashes of colourful iridescence. It is a stone of transformation that is thought to heal and support good mental health, offering the wearer balance, protection and strong intuition. Labradorite is said to be a catalyst for supporting good mental health, delivering a feeling of inner peace and tranquility. It is known as a protection stone that shields the wearer from negative energies and is useful through times of transition. Despite its name - Rainbow Moonstone is actually white Labradorite. Sizing
I recommend you select a size that is 1-1.5cm larger than your actual wrist size to allow a little movement. As these bracelets are elasticised it is not recommended that you wear them taut as it strains the elastic and may be uncomfortable on your wrist, nor too loose that it will catch on things.
Caring for your Wristocracy:
Like with all my jewellery I do recommend you take bracelets off before entering water. Frequent exposure to water and cologne can damage the beads.
Some gemstones are water or photosensitive. This means long periods of water or sun exposure may erode or fade the stone - so it is best to keep this in mind when wearing or storing the jewellery.
Safety
Bracelets are intended for adult wear only. Please keep beads away from animals and small children and ingestion may cause harm.
Gemstones are beautiful to look at, but make no mistake - they should never be ingested. If your bracelet or necklace breaks, collect all the stones and put them in a safe place and contact the maker to remake (if possible). I will remake my pieces only. Please note there is a small charge for re-making and if extra beads are required I may charge a little bit for those also.
Most minerals are safe to wear or handle normally, however if the polish on your gemstone starts to breakdown you need to consider replacing the stones.

Sizes outside the standard ones listed are available on request - please feel free to message me. Please note that bracelets above 21cm may cost a little extra (approx + 15%) due to the extra cost of beads used.
