This means that if you're looking for a piece that is uniquely your own or if you have something particular in mind I may be able to help. Prices start from just $40 and I do check in and send a couple of progress pics along the way to make sure we're in the same page. To find out more head to the wristocracy.co.nz website and look under Custom Makes (at the top). New Autumn Release - South African Turquoise Chrysocolla

The second of my Autumn new releases is this beauty.

This gorgeous Turquoise Chrysocolla from South Africa has such unusual patterning I couldn’t keep it to myself any longer.

I’ve paired it with some black and gold faceted Amazonite and coconut Heishi beads to bring out the brown, black, grey and green tones in it. I’ve elected to finish it with beachy Bronze Patina focal beads and a teal Czech glass tile bead.

Whilst this set works perfectly by itself if you want to extend it further try it with a pearl bracelet (available on request), any of your keepsake jewellery or take a look at the Picture Jasper that also features Patina beads and provides the perfect complement without detracting from the star of the show - the Chrysocolla.

I have a limited quantity of the Chrysocolla so this set is a limited edition.

In other news - I have been bit held up with releasing the Autumn sets as I have been experiencing a few challenges with the new website review section. These challenges have monopolised much of my time lately, but I am hopeful all will be resolved soon as reviews are super important to a small business like me. If you have placed an order in the last few months and would like to leave a review or have received an email asking for one - I would be super grateful. Unfortunately many months worth have been lost in the ether so I kind of have to start from scratch sadly. Please get in touch if you have purchased and want to leave a review. Thanks in advance!

New Autumn Set - The Beautiful Monster

When thinking of Aquamarine the colour that immediately comes to my mind is a light airy blue with a tinge of iridescence. However the truth is Aquamarine can be quite varied in colour. Whilst the light airy blue is perhaps the most widely known variety of the stone, Aquamarine can also be greenish or grey in tone or occasionally a deep dark blue sometimes known as Monster Aquamarine.

I first discovered Monster Aquamarine when I was looking for different stones for my Rainbow Bracelets. Its deep steely blue spoke to me immediately and I could not resist adding a few strings of it to my stock for use in future sets. This particular Monster Aquamarine was sourced in Brazil and its colour is completely natural with no use of dyes or heat treatment. I just love the tone and depth of texture in each of these beads.

To create this set I’ve combined it with an equally beautiful faceted Aquamarine with Tourmaline, a Dalmatian Jasper and some pewter to complement the colours. I do hope you like it.

I think this bracelet set will work really well with many of the Autumn colours in the stores this year, including denim, red, camel, navy as well as (my go to) black.

You can read more about Aquamarine and many other stones in Wristocropedia.

Please Note: Monster Aquamarine is not always available, so this particular set is strictly a Limited Edition.

New Sets on the Horizon & Sale News

Here we are on the first day of Autumn 🍁🍂 my favourite season of the year. I love the (still) long sunny days☀️ that are a little cooler and less humid. I can finally enjoy a little more time outside and enjoy the changing colours without being overcome by the heat.

Over the last few weeks I have really enjoyed working on the Rococo range and I am so pleased that it has been well received. It was and is a ♥️labour of love♥️ and a return to my first bracelet creations. I will from time to time add or alter a few colours - but for now want to turn my attention to creating a few new sets for the coming season.

I know most shops are ready to roll with new stock on the first day of the season - but as I am a team of one and my time is limited - this is not always possible for me. However, I do want you to know there are definitely new sets on the horizon🌅 and a few tweaks to existing sets, so watch this space.

Hairdresser day is selfie day and it’s been a while - so here I am!

I still have plenty of sparkly Swarovski Crystal rings on sale - so if you haven’t already, do check them out. You will see there are also some Swarovski Crystal earrings on sale - so if you like to 🪩 sparkle 🪩 - there’s plenty to be had. Prices start from just $20.

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend!

At least I got to enjoy a walk in the sunshine

Some of the bracelets heading out on the courier soon . . .

When you wake up and are about to get stuck in to your beautifully planned day only to discover an emergency trip to the vet 👩🏽‍⚕️ is needed for not one but two animals 🐕🐈‍⬛ (don’t fret both animals seem to be on the mend now) and your day and all those plans suddenly get turned on their head. 🤦‍♀️

Whilst our kids may be grown these aging pets of ours (all six of them) continue to keep us on our toes! My unplanned vet trip coupled with our decision to go down to a one car 🚙 household a while ago meant that I got to enjoy a lovely (all be it unplanned) walk🚶‍♀️in the sunshine ☀️from my appointment today, as the car was already in use. The upshot of all this was that I couldn’t quite get back in time to get my parcels on the courier 🚚this morning, so they will going out tomorrow instead.

Pictured are some of those pieces (that were meant to head off today). An eclectic mix of sets, singles and custom made bracelets. Please know that whilst I never rush the process of making and always string with lots of love ♥️ and attention to detail (and in the case of custom makes - progress pictures 📸), I do always aim to get your goodies on the courier ASAP. I am incredibly grateful for all your support over the years and if you are keen on getting a quote on a custom piece click on the link to see how it works.

Did someone say Sale?

Did someone say sale?

I sure did!

Time to make space for the NEW and that means letting go of a few of these popular Swarovski Crystal rings that used to be such a hit at the market. As these rings are ex market samples, a couple of them have scratches (they are virtually undetectable to the naked eye) but to make up for them I am offering them at special discounted rate in the hope that they find their new homes!

Pictured here with the new range of Rococo bracelets these are just some of the colours and styles available. Prices begin at just $20 - do you see your favourite colour? At this price you could grab a couple for different outfits - perhaps even a belated Valentines yourself!

Have a great weekend

Accessorising with Rococo bracelets

Like most Wristocracy, I’ve designed and made the Rococo collection of bracelets so that they can be worn individually or added to existing bracelets. First and foremost try any one of the 65+ Colour Therapy bracelets choices or combine them with your favourite sets or your own precious metal bracelets.

As of today there are now ten different colours to choose from in the Rococo range - but I am going to focus on just the pastels in this article

Rose is not pictured here but it features and darker pinks with silver. It includes Rose Quartz, Pink Tourmaline and Pink Opalite and works well with these stones but also white, crystal clear, pastel pinks and silver. Try it with Rhodonite or Madagascar Rose Quartz or Lepidolite and these colours would tone in quite well I think.

Pêche is a warmer pink that I’ve combined with a copper. It features Peach Moonstone and peach toned pearls and works well with these, but also Rhodochrosite, Rose Aventurine or coppers, rose golds and apricots. Pop it on with a Beachcomber bracelet in peach tones.

NEW The freshly added Fleur de Pommier is a true pastel pink. It features Rose Quartz and Pink Opalite. It works well with these stones but also white, silver and crystal clear stones. Perhaps one of the most versatile this bracelet looks good with all the others pastels in the Rococo range particularly Jonquille, Menthe, Lavande and Océan Try it with a Beachcomber bracelet in pastel pink tones or Mangano Calcite or Rose Quartz bracelets. Or like I have, combine it with some of my favourites, Sunshine bracelets.

Lagune is a true, green toned teal. It features Amazonite, Apatite and Turquoise and works well with these stones but also many others including creams, pale browns, (Picture Jasper), silver as well as other teal toned bracelets. Try it with Brazilian Amazonite, African Turquoise or a light Apatite.

Océan is a blue toned turquoise/teal. It features Blue Topaz and works well with this stone but also Aquamarine. It is a cooler toned teal, it features white Opalite, Snow Quartz, Rainbow Moonstone so works well with white, crystal clear and silver tones. Try it with one of the Aquamarine sets a Beachcomber bracelet in Sea Glass tones or a birthstone bracelet in your choice of stone.

Menthe is a mint tone green. It features Australian Chrysoprase, Opalite, a pale Green Agate, Rainbow Moonstone and Prehnite. It works well with these stones but also other pastels. Pop it with a little spotted moonstone (pictured) or a Beachcomber bracelet in teal tones, or why not try the Variscite set or a Rainbow Happy bracelet with some gorgeous Green Angelite which tones in perfectly! In fact any one of the Rainbow bracelets could work really well with many in the Rococo range.

Bleuet is a lovely purply cornflower blue. It features Tanzanite and Blue Lace Agate as well as silver and icy whites including Rainbow Moonstone. It works well with these stones but also looks good with Kyanite and other washed denim coloured stones. All of the Rococo range feature Czech and Swarovski crystal and crystal pearls. Accessorise with your favourite sparkly bracelet and a silver chain. Don’t forget these Rococo bracelets are the perfect size to wear along side your watch.

Lavande features Lavender Amethyst, Rainbow Moonstone and a White Opalite. It looks fantastic with any of these stones but also Kunzite which is available in sets and in Colour Therapy. Try it with a mixed gradient Fluorite, an icy Pearlescence toned Beachcomber bracelet or some of the Sunshine Bracelet collection.

Jonquille features Yellow Opal, Lemon Quartz, Mother of Pearl and freshwater pearls. It looks good with all of these but also works super well with Yellow Calcite and other lemony tones and Citrine. I’ve combined this yellow with mixed golds so it works well with your gold jewellery.

There is so much more you can do with these little gorgeous bracelets including combining with pearls and Swarovski crystal but I’ll leave that for another day! And at only $35 these are not only a fun way but also an economic way to extend your collection!

New Colours

I’ve just added three new colours to the Rococo range - a Teal (Lagune), Turquoise Blue (Océan) and a Cornflower Blue (Bleut). There are now nine colours in the Rococo range (including a red that is not pictured). I have decided to standardise the design a little bit to make them a little easier to list - but if you super keen on a Swarovski butterfly or flower - I still have some (depending on the colour) so feel free to ask and if available I can pop one on. I am still working on getting some wrist shots - sorry, wrist models 💁🏽‍♀️ in short supply at the minute! I hope you love the new colours 🩱🌊🪻as much as I do. All bracelets are $35 now and any glitches on the website should hopefully now be sorted! Thanks for your patience and to Grace for the heads up! 💜

Behold the NEW Rococo bracelet range …

As promised my NEW Rococo range is now on the website - with six colours to choose from.

Currently there is a five gorgeous pastels and a burst of bright colour by way of Le Chilli 🌶️ (not pictured).

I added Le Chilli because I've seen a ton of gorgeous brights in the shops this (Southern Hemisphere) Summer…  and I thought why not create something fun to go with them ....  after-all it is still Summer - better late than never.!😀

If you like the range but want a different colour way - email me and I will look into it for a later release.

The keen eyed amongst you may have spotted some cute little Swarovski crystal butterflies 🦋 and flowers🌸on some of the bracelets.  I will warn you now that they (🦋 🌸) are not on all of the bracelets in that colour - but a few.  So, for those colours that have them (Lavande, Rose and Jonquille) - I have included the option for you to pick your strand. If choosing one of these colours you will need to state your required bracelet size when ordering. Now I am off to enjoy some sunshine! ☀️

If you’re desperate for a butterfly or flower on your strand but missed out - please email me and I will see if I can accomodate.

Bracelets are all elasticated. Thanks in advance.

New Year - New Look Website

New Year - New Website and what I’ve been up to over Summer.

Belated Happy New Year all!

So you may have noticed that I’ve been bit M.I.A. on Social Media lately. I have had my reasons. Firstly - We’ve had LOTS of visiting relatives from far flung shores visiting. Following all the socialising we needed a little bit of time off to recover, tend to the garden etc etc. So, for any one that is interested, above is a little overview of my summer so far - in between all the visitors and catchups, there have been lots of dog walks, a hike up Rangitoto, a little bit of creating, a precious bead tile ♥️ made for me by my clever daughter, a birthday celebration or two, a long overdue haircut, some precious homegrown veggies and fruit harvesting, including those beautiful cherries (there weren’t many of them but oh I how proud I was of them,) some beautiful sunsets and lots of work on my website.

All the while wearing my little Sunshine Bracelet combo, because I decided, you don’t need to be born in November to wear the gorgeous sunny Citrine!

So, why the website update? Last year when I updated the website - the functionality ended up falling short for me. I wanted it to be easier to drive and maintain - both for my customers and for me. Also, the overall look was not quite what I had hoped to achieve. So, meet New Look website Take 2 🎬.

I am hoping this version allows you to browse a little easier and will provide that little bit more information that people often asked for.

I have made Wristocropedia accessible to all to save you all faffing around with a password and this little blog will contain social media posts and a bit more, to allow those who prefer not to engage in Facebook, Instagram etc , to see any posts etc that they may have missed - if they choose to.

It has taken a bit of time and now I am very keen to get back to creating a few new products that I’ve been itching to make.

Short and sweet - that’s all from me for now.

Tricia :)
